Living in a small town is better than living in a big city. It has more advantages than disadvantages and it is more comfortable for you and your family. Now, you must be thinking: Are you crazy? Well, let me tell you some things about small towns.

First, small towns are peaceful and quite. Here, you will be able to relax, go walking around the woods without being bothered and disturbed by the noise of the cars, parties and stereos; you are just going to listen to the sound of the birds and other animals and you will be in touch with the nature.

Second, people in small towns are friendlier and closer. In big cities, everyone is in their own thing, and they are not as open as small town people in terms of friendship. Off course that in big cities you are going to have friends, but not everybody is going to help you when you need something unless you are close friends. On the other hand, in a small town you are going to know almost everyone so they might help you when you have a problem.

In addition, another thing that makes big cities worse for living than small towns is the pollution. Since here there is a lot of concentration of cars, trucks and factories, you are not going to breathe air; you are going to breathe smog. Smog has all the air polluted, and it is a mix of smoke and fog. As a consequence, it could be harmful for your health. On the contrary, in small towns you do not have to worry about this since the air here is not polluted. Therefore, you will only breathe clean air and the health of you and your family will not be affected.

However, a problem that you might find in small towns is the lack of technology. Here, it is difficult to have all the newest things related to technology and some of them will not even work. So if you are a big technology fan, you belong to the city. Another thing would be if you are working right now in the big city. It will be very difficult to transport all the way between the city and the town, and it will be preferably to live in the city.
As we have seen, living in a small town has more benefits than living in a big city. It is more peaceful, cleaner, safer, and healthier, and it could help you to know more about yourself and the environment that surrounds you, so you should think again what is the best place to live for you and your family.
